Whether you’re planning ahead or supporting a loved one who is dying, Doula Connections offers calm, experienced, non-clinical services to help you feel prepared, informed and never alone. Our doulas work with individuals and families to explore end of life wishes, navigate care options and gently guide you through important conversations and decisions about end of life.

Our Services

Doula Connections – Personalised Support Services

At Doula Connections, we understand that everyone is unique. Our services are thoughtfully designed to meet the individual needs of each person and their loved ones, providing gentle guidance, practical support and heartfelt presence throughout the end of life experience.

All bookings require a minimum of 3 hours. We offer you flexibility and experienced doulas.

Hourly Rates:

Weekdays (8am–5pm): $85/hour
After Hours & Saturdays: $95/hour
Night Shift: $105/hour
Sundays: $160/hour

You can select individual services or a tailored packages that best suits your changing needs:

Introductory Consultation (can be booked online)
A free 30 minute phone or video call to introduce our services and answer your general questions.
(Note: no personalised advice is provided)
Wishes and Preferences Planning Session (3 hours – $280.50 inc GST)
A guided session using signature document to explore your values, priorities and end of life preferences. This also helps the people around you to know what’s important to you.
End of Life Support Plan, includes Advance Care Directive (3 hours – $280.50 inc GST)
To clarify and document your specific decisions and preferences when end of life is approaching.
Active Dying or Vigil Support (3 hours – $280.50, 5 hours – $467.50, 7 hours – $654.50 inc GST)
A calm, supportive presence during the final hours or days, offering non-clinical care, resources, advocacy, emotional support and dignity.
Accompanied Transport and Outings (3 hours – $280.50 inc GST)
Compassionate assistance to attend activities, events, appointments, funeral companies etc.
Support for Families (3 hours – $280.50 inc GST)
Gentle guidance following a death, helping families navigate practical steps, emotional needs and making arrangements.
Respite for Carers (3 hours – $280.50, 5 hours – $467.50, 7 hours – $654.50 inc GST)
Temporary support for carers to rest, attend to personal matters or take a much-needed break. If you need extended or continual support we can have a team of doulas allocated to you.
Legacy and Remembrance Activities (3 hours – $280.50 inc GST)
Help capturing stories, messages or memories, through books, letters, recordings or creative projects.
Memorial, Ceremony and Funeral Planning Support (3 hours – $280.50, 5 hours – $467.50 inc GST)
Support liaising with providers and helping individuals and families to shape meaningful farewells.
Social Experiences and Reminiscence Adventures (3 hours – $280.50, 5 hours – $467.50, 7 hours – $654.50 inc GST)
Support in planning joyful or meaningful activities, like ticking off a bucket list dream or revisiting a treasured place.
Practical Equipment and Resource Coordination (4 hours – $374 inc GST)
Help arranging home based comfort equipment like beds, wheelchairs or mobility aids through local providers.

NOTE: rates are based on Weekdays (8am–5pm additional fee will apply if outside regular working hours). Travel time included in the packages.

Doula Packages

Some people like to purchase a bundle of hours that they can use over time for different activities. Additional blocks can be purchased as desired. Your doula needs to support you in 3 hour blocks so we can meet the requirements of their employment.

1. Essentials
6 hours – $561 inc GST

2. Extended
9 hours – $841.50 inc GST

3. Expanded
12 hours – $1,122 inc GST

NOTE: rates are based on Weekdays (8am–5pm additional fee will apply if outside regular working hours). Travel time included in packages.

Select your date and time (minimum 3 hours).
After booking, you’ll receive confirmation.

Payment Terms:

Payment is required to secure your booking.
Packages must be booked in minimum blocks (3, 6 or 9 hours).

Cancellations and rescheduling

Minimum Notice: Clients are required to provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked visit. This notice allows Doula Connections to manage rostering, support continuity and respect the time and availability of our team members.

Emergency Cancellation
In genuine emergencies, clients must call the Doula Connections office during business hours as soon as possible. Consideration will be given to emergency circumstances on a case-by-case basis at management’s discretion.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours notice will result in no refund of service fees already paid. Prepaid bookings are non-refundable if cancelled outside the required notice period, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
