We reckon that our end of life doulas are the absolute best in Australia. They have all completed thorough training with Preparing The Way and they come from very diverse backgrounds. Basically though, they genuinely care about people and believe that what individuals want for their end of life, should be heard and respected. They will work with you as an individual, you’ll never be just a number or be offered a one size fits all approach.
We have made sure that our end of life doulas align with our values and professional standards and we’re sure that you will be very well supported by any of our team. There are doulas dotted all over Australia.
Check out the map to see who practices in your state if you are looking for in-person services.
Everyone should be provided with the opportunity to be heard, their wishes and preferences noted and wherever possible their instructions followed. We believe that people have a right to decide what support they want at the end of their life. There is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to life-limiting illness, dying and death. We are just as much individuals in our death and dying as we are when we’re healthy and well. Life should be lived right until the end and our individuality doesn’t disappear with our last breath and heartbeat.
